Our 3 starfish hook boards, as you see in the 1st 3 photos, are one of our bestsellers. We've mounted the starfish we painted on premium wood we've cut sanded and painted; these are actually some we've just shipped. I've gotten a lot of requests for boards with 4 and 5 and up hooks, so I've added lots of different listings for 3, 4, 5 and more starfish; (The board with 4 is 23" long, separate listing; the board with 3 hangers, which is what this listing is for, is 19" long). I've included photos of both so you can see the difference, but this listing is for the board with THREE. You can change the color of your starfish or the board (see list below)

This listing is for your own custom piece like the one shown, made from premium wood that has been cut by Tommy, painted and then painted with a couple coats and sanded some more by me (Rita) with Then we attach these lovely starfish hangers I found in an antique shop; they're cast iron, and I've given them a couple coats of "pistachio" colored paint.
The dimensions of this sturdy handmade wooden hanger shown are 19" long, 5 1/2" high, and 1-2" deep, with 3 starfish hooks. This board comes with 2 ring type hangers already attached, on the back for easy hanging too; they're spaced at the same distance as the studs in your wall, so it's recommended you hang yours from nails or screws in the studs, not just from the drywall. Each piece will look slightly different, which just adds to the handmade appeal: yours will be one of a kind! Look closely at the pictures, so you can see the slight variations in the look...

We lightly distress all board surfaces, so some dark shows on edges. Your board will come slightly distressed, unless you request very heavy distressing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you take custom orders?
Yes, almost all of our orders for painted towel racks, furniture and prints are custom orders. Most painted listings give you a drop down menu to select your colors and let you choose if your items are distressed or not.
When will my order ship?
Due to the volume of orders we are processing, and since almost everything we make and sell is custom made, the usual turnaround time is 10- 15 business days or 2-3 weeks before we ship your order. Occasionally the time could be less- contact us with questions about your particular order.
I need my order sooner; can you help me?
Depending on how many orders we are currently processing, there may be times when we can ship your order in less than 2 weeks. Contact us with your question, and we'll do what we can to help you.
What info do you need from me to customize my order, and how do I provide this information to you?
Most of our painted listings have a drop down menu where you select paint colors and if you want your items distressed or not. If you are purchasing a painted item, that has multiple hooks, or multiple colors, you can:
1. put your choices in the message to seller section as you check out.
2. send a conversation message to us when you purchase.
For print orders, the process is:

If you forget to give us your color or custom details, we cannot process your order until you send us that info.
Custom and personalized orders
Please double check the personalization info and custom details you send us, as well as your shipping address on file for etsy- we ship to the address etsy provides us. If your item is defective, we will of course replace it for you.
What if I forgot to send you all the info you need to start my order?
We will contact you via an etsy conversation if we have a question about your personalization or if you forgot to include all the info we need. We strongly recommend that you have an email address you check regularly linked to your etsy account for this purpose. If you do not check etsy convos regularly, or have a current email address you check regularly linked to your account, once we have attempted to reach you, we can not proceed with starting to work on your order until you get back to us.
Do you have a bricks and mortar store?
We had a bricks and mortar store on the Outer Banks, Beach House Dreams for 5 years. We closed the store in 2019 but you can still see the items we make and sell in the Lazy Daisy Gift Store in Williamsburg, Va. and in the Lazy Daisy Gift Store in Yorktown Va. They are open 7 days a week until 6 pm!
